  • In September 2024, Viessmann Climate Solutions UK launched a new range of air source heat pumps (ASHP) designed for larger homes and small to mid-sized commercial spaces. The unit delivers a 40-kW power output, supports both heating and cooling, and offers a coefficient of performance (COP) of 5.32. In addition, it also uses the environmentally friendly R-290 propane refrigerant with exceptionally low global warming potential (GWP) rating.
     
  • In May 2024, Clivet released an air-cooled HP unit named Thunder, operating on low GWP propane (R290) refrigerant, with a primary application across commercial and residential uses. It also has variable speed control for cooling, heating, and hot water optimization.
