  • In September 2024, Biffa, a leading UK waste management firm, has expanded its operations by acquiring L&S Waste Management. This Hampshire-based company specializes in construction and demolition waste processing. The deal, finalized recently, adds two recycling facilities with a combined 225,000-ton annual capacity, a transfer station, and a fleet of 91 vehicles to Biffa's assets. This acquisition complements the company’s existing C&D facilities in major UK cities, strengthening its position in the waste management industry and as the country's primary skip provider.
